Celebrating Labor Day as an American has always felt so rewarding, that token of appreciation the USA gives us each year to acknowledge our hard work gives me joy and thankfulness. Let’s think about it, each day we wake up and decide to go into the workforce and make change is a day to be proud of yourself no matter if you are a janitor, school bus driver, law enforcer, health care worker or government worker, we are all contributing to society and the value it holds. The better we are at our job the more of an impact we can make for our future when it comes to changing our economy, growing wall street, our children’s education, and our everyday life in the world we live in. Here are some of my family members and I having the day off and celebrating our many accomplishments. I could remember some days not getting the day off because I had to work on Labor Day or my mother or hubby not having off sacrificing for someone else to be off and enjoy the holiday with their family. I hope everyone has a memorable labor day and remember this day and everyday is about making a difference in someone else’s life.
