WOW! This Week’s Outreach Was Plentiful! SO THANKFUL TO OUR DONORS!

I wanted to be more candid and transparent so you could see what a day looks like when we are out servicing our homeless Americans. This weeks blog is a front view of what everyday life is for them and shows how receptive they are to us in their environment. We thought it would be a good idea for you guys to hear what they had to say right from them!
Meet Mister 1 The leader of the pack. He tells us he is Mr. Orlando and seems pretty comfortable speaking his mind! We enjoyed talking to him. Mister 1 has been homeless since he was 14 yrs of age. He said he is from Iowa but has lived all over the united states but loves Florida the most. We enjoyed speaking with him, very knowledgeable of the community and the resources available. Mister 2 was just released from prison two days ago and is homeless due to his ex wife not letting him back home. He hopes to go home soon but for now is living on the streets the best way he can with the resources he has available to him. We were happy to brighten his day since he was the fourth to receive a care package from TMFI. Mister 2 is in the photo.

Missy 1 is the lady holding the sign, she was very nurturing, sincere and thankful. Missy 2 was very grateful we were able to provide her with lunch and $5 for dinner. They are both homeless and navigate well with the LEADER OF THE PACK Mister 1 assistance. They get cleaned up at the laundry mat or the Samaritan House and enjoy hanging out with the people in their community. Just like anyone else they enjoy congregating and making the best out of their situation. Thank you guys for allowing us into your space for a moment. We had initially provided lunch and dinner for two but two more show’d up so we extended our resources for them. We went back to the gas station and picked up two more care packages which includes a apple, banana, gatorade, something warm and we give them $5 for dinner. We were able to see where they hang out at and also met several other homeless people but weren’t able to provide service to them. We are so thankful for our donors for allowing us to provide this service. It is a gift that keeps on giving.
